For more than 40 years, Wolfgang Niedecken's BAP has been considered both a real rock institution in the German music scene - and an inexplicable phenomenon. The band, singing in the Cologne dialect, delights fans all over Germany, even in German-speaking countries and thus far beyond the borders of the Rhineland. Celebrates successes that were not thought possible, astonishes the media and critics, and naturally overturns many of the golden rules of the music business. They are considered "pop stars of almost incomprehensible size in the early eighties" (Rolling Stone / 2023) and their songs have had a lasting impact on people's taste in music, especially in this decade. Hits like "Verdamp lang her", "Kristallnaach" and of course "Do kanns Zaubere" are irrevocably burned into the ears and hearts of their fans. In 2024, BAP will embark on a musical JOURNEY THROUGH TIME, where they will play all the songs from the two double platinum albums from 81/82 as part of the tour of the same name through Germany, Switzerland and the Benelux countries, with which they became known nationwide and which have been at the top of the fans' wish list ever since.
