Bodo Wartke and the SchönenGutenA-Band present classics and completely new songs by the piano cabaret artist. The repertoire, which was specially arranged for the band, presents popular songs from six programs by Bodo Wartke as well as songs in rough versions and text experiments from the band workshop.
The range extends from “Gaffer”, one of the piano cabaret artist’s earliest songs, to his socially critical pieces such as “Heilige Schrift 2.0” – and most recently: “Das Grundgesetz” – to formidable new interpretations of arias and scenes from Mozart’s Magic Flute!
