Christine Thürmer, die meistgewanderte Frau der Welt, hat nach über 65.000 Kilometern auf fünf Kontinenten festgestellt: Gewandert wird zwar überall, aber überall anders.

Auf ihren letzten Trails in Asien überstand sie Erdbeben, Taifune und eine Überdosis Kimchi, pilgerte danach zur Erholung durch die europäische Kulturlandschaft und kämpfte sich schon mehrfach durch die Wildnisse Amerikas und das australische Outback. Dabei lernte die Globetrotterin, dass nicht nur Klima und Gelände das Wandererlebnis beeinflussen, sondern auch Essgewohnheiten, Schönheits-ideale und Arbeitsrecht.

In ihrer neuen Show vergleicht sie mit lustigen und nachdenklichen Anekdoten aus 40 Ländern die Outdoor-Kulturen von Chile bis Taiwan und zeigt, was auch wir daraus lernen können. Wo kann man um ein havariertes Kernkraftwerk wandern? Welchen Outdoor-Snack gibt es hier-zulande nur als Hundefutter? Und warum sehen manche Wanderer aus wie Bankräuber?
