Basierend auf dem gleichnamigen Kult-Film von John Waters entstand ein eindrucksvolles Musical mit zahlreichen Ohrwürmern. Das Buch stammt von Mark O’Donnel und Thomas Meehan, die Musik steuert Marc Shaiman bei. Nun begeistert das Broadway-Musical auch wieder auf deutschen Bühnen.
