The powerful-voiced member of the famous KELLY FAMILY recently impressively demonstrated this on his much-acclaimed “Back on the Streets” tour. And THESTREETORCHESTRA, which consists of 12 (!) musicians, plays a key role in this: Jimmy rocks the stages with this great band and inspires the audience like no other.
In spring 2025, Jimmy “the Streetkid” Kelly, the charismatic musician with his heart in the right place, will once again set off on a new concert tour with his street orchestra to the delight of his fans and spread the pure, unmistakable Kelly feeling. With his special mix of handmade folk music, peppered with rock and pop elements, Jimmy brings the feeling of the Irish pub into the concert halls with playful ease - “Irish Pub on the Road” and plays his way straight into the hearts of his fans .
And of course hits from his world-famous family, the Kelly Family, will not be missing, as many of their legendary hits are characterized by his unmistakable voice.
Jimmy Kelly is known to many as a member of THE KELLY FAMILY, which was successful worldwide in the 1990s. Together with his siblings, he celebrated a brilliant comeback in 2017, which saw the family tour across Europe and play in front of sold-out houses in the following years. The creative diversity of each Kelly is also reflected in her solo projects. So in 2007 Jimmy joined a remarkable musical project. During a personally challenging phase, the musician returned to the street musically to find himself and his musical roots. This formative and instructive time brought him the encounter with many highly talented fellow musicians. In the process, Jimmy founded his own street musician band, whose first joint album entitled "Viva la Street" was celebrated by fans and the music press alike.
Shaped by his life, Jimmy is known for his versatile musicality with a wide variety of cultural influences. The concerts promise to be just as diverse and colorful as Jimmy Kelly & The Streetorchestra sound with their impressive stylistic range: from danceable Balkan klezmer influences, to bluegrass and Irish sounds, to Spanish folk and French chansons.
“It's about combining the magic of the street and the music and celebrating life with the audience! That's just how I grew up and even though joy and sorrow are often close together in life, music has always played a role in the middle. I would like to pass that on,” said Jimmy Kelly.
The artist has not forgotten his roots, on the contrary. Jimmy takes us “Back to the Street,” where it all began with his family. With our own new songs, Irish folk classics and of course the hits of the Kelly Family, these concerts are a must, and not just for die-hard Kelly Family fans!
