They are the extreme metal sensation of the moment: Lorna Shore have made deathcore more popular than any other band in a long time.

Even though their big breakthrough came in 2021, Lorna Shore laid the foundation for their huge success a decade earlier. The band was founded in New Jersey in 2010 and worked tirelessly. They released several EPs and played one tour after the other, including with genre greats such as Carnifex and The Black Dahlia Murder - all before their debut album "Psalms" was finally released in 2015.

From the beginning, the band has always developed musically and tried out different styles. This change is also accompanied by a constant change in band members: the second album "Flesh Coffin", released in 2017, was the last to feature a founding member. However, this fluctuation only makes Lorna Shore stronger. This is confirmed when exceptional singer Will Ramos joins the band in 2020 after the release of the album "Immortal".

Their first song together, “To The Hellfire,” goes viral, makes the Americans known outside the deathcore scene, and is voted one of the best metal songs of 2021 by numerous music magazines such as Loudwire and Revolver. From then on, things only go uphill.

It's clear: Lorna Shore have found their recipe for success. With their influences from black, death, progressive and symphonic metal, they push the boundaries of the deathcore genre and present themselves as one of the most exciting extreme metal bands of recent times. The 2022 album "Pain Remains" is the best proof of this.
