Lynyrd Skynyrd - Celebrating 50 Years

The US rock institution will be appearing on German stages in six shows starting on June 30 as part of their "Lynyrd Skynyrd - Celebrating 50 Years - 2025 Tour". This will also be the case on July 4, 2025 in Halle. The only date in central Germany.

More than half a century after the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Pronounced 'Lĕh-'n.rd 'Skin-'n.rd, Lynyrd Sksnyrd continues to thrill their cross-generational fan base just as much today as they did when they first performed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1973.

Few groups have had as much impact on a generation as Skynyrd, and the band has made it its life's work to honor those who have made a lasting contribution to the lives of hundreds of millions of fans around the world.
Former members Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Steve Gaines, Ed King, Billy Powell, Bob Burns and Leon Wilkeson, among others, will forever remain significant contributors to the band's enduring repertoire and colorful history.

Today, Lynyrd Skynyrd continues to rock with its current line-up of Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Carol Chase and Stacy Michelle.

The Southern rock legend is constantly touring, and as Van Zant says, "It's about the legacy of Lynyrd Skynyrd and what it stands for, what the fans care about. There's nothing better than getting on stage with Skynyrd and seeing people love this music."
