Mar Malade's songs are like a holiday in music. Originally created as an experiment, a little escape from everyday life for two friends, Mar Malade, consisting of Alexander Hauer and Michèl M. Almeida, have already released two albums full of summer and have taken their songs on concert tours through Germany, Austria and Switzerland with sold-out concerts in Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Vienna.
Now the touring duo is spreading its "towels" for the third time and going on a "Fatamorgana" tour in 2025. Mar Malade and her multi-instrumental live band not only present their sometimes energetic, sometimes dancing, sometimes nostalgic music with an unbridled joy of playing (the kind that only your grandmother would have allowed you to play as a child, but she is also the one who cooks the sticky-sweet jam) - but also one or two curious moments between the songs: the drummer reads the horoscopes from the local press and all the Capricorns in the audience, Alexander sings the classic hiking song "Hejo, Spann den Wagen an" with the audience because Michèl looped the instrumental for the title song of her second album "Balloon" from it. In this way, every evening of a Mar Malade tour creates its own, well-warmed room full of music, joy and shared moments for and with her audience.
