Seit über 17 Jahren spielt Mark Keller nun schon Dr. Alexander Kahnweiler im „Bergdoktor“. Doch seine Talente liegen auch in der Musik. Entdeckt wurde er 1989 in „Die Rudi Carrell Show – Laß dich überraschen“, als er Dean Martin imitiert. Kurzerhand engagierte ihn der ARD für die Serie „Sterne des Südens“. Seither wirkte er in fast 30 Filmen sowie zahlreichen Serien mit; darunter „Alarm für Cobra 11“ oder „Hinter Gittern“. Immer wieder kehrt er aber zur Musik zurück.
Seine CD „Mein kleines Glück“ sollte von René Möckel mitproduziert und auch von einem großen Orchester sinfonisch untermalt werden. Möckel, der auch als Bandleader zu den großen Cross-Over-Konzerten der Vogtland Philharmonie auf der Bühne steht, brachte den Klangkörper aus Greiz und Reichenbach ins Spiel. Die Zusammenarbeit war so fruchtbar, dass im April 2025 schon die zweite gemeinsame CD „Songs of my life“ erschien.
Nun will Keller auf die Konzertbühnen. Unter Leitung von GMD Stefan Fraas gibt es dann zeitlose Evergreens von Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, Roberto Blanco, Santa Esmeralda, Julio Iglesias sowie einige von Kellers eigenen Songs in einer grandiosen Mischung aus Swing, Jazz, Pop und Orchestersound.
