After his almost sold out first solo tour “Eyes closed and through”, Tutty Tran is now following up: “HAI DAI MAU”! To this day, Germany's best-known "rice citizen" regularly hears this sentence thrown around his ears by his father - "shut up" in the finest Vietnamese-German gibberish. However, it didn't achieve anything. Because Tutty wouldn't be Tutty if he even began to listen to his father. Shut up? Not in life! And so the Berlin comedian with Vietnamese roots is now starting his second solo program “HAI DAI MAU”.
Tutty's parodies of his father's incomparably clichéd accent and the resulting misunderstandings in everyday life are hair-raisingly funny and were already a guarantee for many tears of laughter in the audience during "Eyes closed and through". From relentlessly sarcastic to frivolously cheeky - with his anarchic anecdotes he has already gained a large fan base on social media. Meanwhile, his fans are also running into him analogously.
Bizarre encounters with and from Tutty's father can't be missed in "HAI DAI MAU", but so much more has happened in the meantime: Tutty has moved in with his girlfriend Laura! Yes, really! And that alone offers enough absurdities that Tutty has to deal with on stage. Comedy gold! Like, for example, the clash of cultures when the two families meet: Far East meets Ossi. Language escalations are programmed because Laura's roots lie in Saxony. Who understands what the other person is saying - a popular game at family celebrations.
“HAI DAI MAU” has now become a household word beyond family boundaries and fits Tutty's dry comedy perfectly: he only knows political correctness from the Internet - and if anyone asks: Yes, you can laugh at everything. Above all, about yourself. No matter where you come from, whether you are white, black, yellow or green. Anyone who visits Tutty Tran's comedy show will receive life hacks against prejudices for free, because humor is the language that everyone can speak fluently after an evening with Tutty.
